Okay, you all have to understand, our paper here at UK had me at work until 1:30 a.m., and I didn't get home until 2 a.m., and I didn't fall asleep until 4:30 a.m., and then I woke up at 7:30 a.m. I'm living on nothing but Red Bull and boneheadedness.
So if this joke isn't as funny as most of the others... well, at least you won't be surprised. So here goes...

honestly, I don't get it
The sound of the rimshot is also the sound the elephants make when they hit. The ba-dum is the two hitting the ground and the chee is the one hitting the water.
